Immersive Training

A week or two of daily training beats months of weekly practice

Board and train is the fastest route to a dog you can take anywhere. Your dog boards with one of our trainers and works every day, around real distractions, not just in a quiet room. Off-leash reliability comes from this kind of daily work rather than from weekly obedience lessons. At pickup you get a one-on-one handoff session, so you know exactly how to handle your dog at home. Every program and price is on our plans and pricing page.

What You Get Back

What board and train delivers

Off-leash recall

Come when called, outside and off leash, proofed around distractions in more than one place.

Real-world distractions

Training that happens around dogs, people and busy places, so it holds up outside your house.

Core obedience

Sit, down and place with duration, loose-leash walking, and “off” for jumping and counter surfing.

House manners

Greeting manners, waiting at doors and gates, and waiting politely for meals.

A handoff session

A one-on-one session at pickup where we show you everything your dog now does and how to keep it.

What Fort Wayne dog owners say

“We did the 2 week board and train and it was the best decision ever for him! He was trained in 2023 and still to this day in 2026 I am able to text and call Brooke when we need any refreshing and just any dog advice.”

Isabel DoyleVerified Google review

“Brooke took excellent care of our mini Aussie during her week-long board and train program. She listened to us, answered all our questions, and even customized the training based on what we wanted to get out of it!”

Alissa BrewerVerified Google review

“Our 2.5 year old golden retriever did a 2 week board and train with Leah. We got daily updates with pictures/videos and descriptions of what he was doing which made the time away much easier.”

Board and train questions

What is the difference between the one-week and two-week programs?

The 1 Week Freedom Board & Train is built around off-leash recall, place, sit and manners. The 2 Week Board & Train adds down, loose-leash and off-leash walking, and more work around dogs and people. Neither is designed for aggression; that is what the aggressive dog program is for.

Where does my dog stay?

Your dog boards with one of our professional trainers for the length of the program and trains every day. You get updates while your dog is with us.

What happens at pickup?

You get a one-on-one handoff session covering everything your dog now knows and how to handle them: 1.5 hours for the one-week program and 2 hours for the two-week program.

Does my dog need to be crate trained?

Yes. Our prices page asks that dogs be potty and crate trained by the time the board and train starts. Call us if you are not sure your dog is ready.
