Aggression and reactivity are not the same problem
A reactive dog overreacts to certain things, often out of fear. An aggressive dog threatens harm. Both are hard to live with, and both get worse when the dog is never taught what to do instead. Our 2 Week Aggressive Dog Board & Train starts with practical obedience, then works on manners, socialization at a safe distance, and desensitization to the things that set your dog off. We are honest about the limits: nobody can promise to fix aggression completely, but we can give you control and help you manage it. See every program on our plans and pricing page.
How the program works
A conversation first
Every dog is evaluated case by case, and human aggression is assessed by a trainer before the program starts.
Obedience as the foundation
Come, sit, down, place and heel give you a way to redirect your dog before a reaction starts.
Desensitization
Gradual work around your dog's triggers, with no physical contact with other dogs or people, for everyone's safety.
Daily video updates
You see the progress on your phone while your dog is with us.
A long handoff
A 2 to 3 hour one-on-one session at pickup, so you can handle your dog the way we do.

What Fort Wayne dog owners say
“After an incident between our two dogs, we submitted an online form and Brooke called us on a Sunday and had us in meeting with a trainer on Monday. They understood our urgency and rearranged their schedules to get Odin in the program faster.”
“Trainer Leah had my 3 dogs that all had different issues. … Sophie spent 2 weeks with Off Leash and we have not had any more issues.”
“Tucker is a very anxious dog and I’m so thrilled with all progress he has made in the last week. He has never been able to walk on a leash without aggressively pulling and he and I just went on our first short walk at home and he did 1000x times better.”
Aggressive dog training questions
Can you fix my dog's aggression?
Nobody can honestly promise a complete fix for aggression. What the program does is give you control, through obedience and desensitization, so you can manage the behavior and keep everyone safe. Rehabilitation can be a long process, and we will tell you plainly what to expect at the consultation.
My dog has bitten a person. Can you still help?
Possibly. Human aggression has to be assessed by a trainer before your dog can start the program. Call us and we will talk it through.
Why not the regular two-week board and train?
The regular 2 Week Board & Train is strictly obedience and is not designed for aggression or major behavior problems. The aggressive program adds desensitization and a longer handoff session.
How old does my dog need to be?
At least 5 months, and potty and crate trained by the time the program starts.
Do you offer payment plans?
