Meet The Off Leash Fort Wayne Team
Brooke Forsyth-Zeller - Owner & Head Trainer
Brooke Forsyth-Zeller is the head trainer and owner of the Northeast Indiana location, Off Leash K9 Training of Fort Wayne. She is a local resident of the Fort Wayne area and a proud graduate of Northrop High School, class of 1997.
Brooke grew up with dogs throughout her childhood and, as she matured, came to understand how much they rely on us for guidance and support.
After high school, Brooke started a family and pursued a degree to become a Paralegal. After raising her three boys, she ventured into the corporate world. One pivotal day, she adopted a dog named Chloe, who had been abused and was in need of a home. This experience ignited a passion within Brooke to help dogs. Over four years of fostering for rescues, she successfully adopted out over 60 dogs. However, after four years in rescue and ten years in the corporate sector, she realized that she wasn’t fully fulfilling her passion for helping dogs live better lives.
Brooke’s love for saving dogs led her to leave her corporate job and become a trainer for Off Leash K9 Training of Fort Wayne. Just a few months into this new journey, she knew she had made the right decision, excelling at helping clients build better relationships and understanding with their dogs through training. When the opportunity arose to acquire the Off Leash K9 Training of Fort Wayne location she eagerly took it. Brooke aims to provide the same value, quality, and guarantee that Off Leash K9 training Founder Nick White instilled in the company while continuing to enhance the bond between dogs and their owners.
Brooke is a mother to three grown boys and has a fiancé named Jason. She lives on two acres in Harlan with her many rescue dogs.
leah – Trainer
Leah is a lifelong dog lover and resident of Fort Wayne. Leah grew up with dogs throughout her childhood, and early on, was always learning how to care for and train dogs from a variety of ages and backgrounds.
She spent her teenage years studying different methods of training, as well as canine psychology and behavior.
As an adult, she freelance trained many dogs, and helped dozens of dogs overcome anxiety. She joined Off Leash in 2023, bringing along her 18 years of experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes.
Leah and her husband Ryan have three children, and their German Shepherd.
Amber Plumley - Fort Wayne Trainer
Amber joins the OLK9 team with a passion for dogs. Amber is a Fort Wayne resident and grew up with a love for dogs. Amber started working at a boarding facility about 7 years ago and knew she would always work with dogs.
Amber has been training dogs for 4 years now and can’t wait to work with Off Leash K9 Training clients.
Her favorite thing about training is helping the owners have a better understanding of their beloved pets so the two can have a better relationship.
Amber also enjoys being apart of the YLNI Farmers Markets in the summer, where she sells her handmade Biothane collars and leashes!
Amber has two children, and her Great Dane.
