Off-leash reliability is built, not wished for
Off-leash obedience is what we are named for, and it comes from daily, focused work around real distractions. That is why we build it in a board and train, where your dog trains with a pro trainer every day, rather than in weekly lessons. The 1 Week Freedom Board & Train is built around exactly this: full off-leash recall with multiple distractions in multiple places. The two-week program adds more commands and more proofing. Every price is on our plans and pricing page.
What off-leash training gives you
A recall you can trust
Come on command, outside and off leash, practiced around distractions until it holds.
More places to go
Parks, trails and open ground become places your dog can actually enjoy with you.
Place and sit
Positions your dog holds until released, so you can stop and talk without a tug-of-war.
Manners that travel
No jumping on people, waiting at doors and gates, and waiting for meals.
You keep it going
A one-on-one handoff session at pickup shows you how to keep the recall sharp at home.
Off-leash programs and pricing
Both programs include the e-collar and a one-on-one handoff session at pickup. Payment plans are available. Call us today to learn more about payment options.

What Fort Wayne dog owners say
“We highly recommend using Off Leash K9 Training for your pup. Our dog was so loved and learned so much, it’s really mind blowing seeing the transformation in just 1 week.”
“I sent my 1-year-old Labrador to a two-week board and train with Leah, and she did an amazing job. My dog now comes with me everywhere, and I no longer have to worry about excessive leash pulling or jumping on strangers when they come up to pet him.”
“I was so excited to see how a weeks training with Brooke, significantly changed Ellis’s manners in sit, come, place, and door manners so she quit running out as soon as the door opened.”
Off-leash training questions
Can lessons teach my dog to be reliable off leash?
Lessons build the commands, but off-leash reliability is a board and train outcome. It takes daily work around distractions, which is what the board and train programs provide.
Will my dog have to wear the e-collar forever?
Inside the house most dogs listen without it. We do recommend putting it on whenever your dog is outside off leash, the same way you would buckle a seat belt, because it only takes one surprise to lose a dog.
Does the e-collar hurt?
No. At the first meeting we put it on your arm so you can feel how mild the stimulation is. It is used to get your dog's attention, like a tap on the shoulder, not as punishment.
Which program should I choose?
If the recall is the main goal, the 1 Week Freedom Board & Train is built for it. If you also want loose-leash walking, down and more manners, choose the 2 Week Board & Train.
