Programs and prices

These are the prices on our website on November 4, 2026. Prices can change; our prices page always has the current ones.

Board and train

Your dog lives and trains with one of our professional trainers, then you get a hands-on handoff lesson at pickup. Dogs need to be potty and crate trained before the program starts. Board and train includes a lifetime refresher class.

1 Week Freedom Board and Train

$1,400

One week built around off-leash recall, place, sit and manners, plus a 1.5-hour handoff session.

2 Week Board and Train

$2,500

Two weeks: sit, down, loose-leash and off-leash walking, come, and door, meal and greeting manners, plus a 2-hour handoff session.

2 Week Aggressive Dog Board and Train

$3,100

Two weeks for dogs that react to other dogs, animals or people, with daily video updates, an e-collar and leash, and a 2 to 3 hour handoff session. Human aggression is assessed by a trainer first.

Private lessons

One-on-one lessons where we teach you how to train your dog. We set the lesson location with you when you book.

Basic Obedience Starter Package

$350

One private lesson to introduce you and your dog to our training, with an e-collar and training leash.

Basic Obedience

$700

Four one-hour private lessons: come, sit, down, place, loose-leash heel and off. E-collar and leash included.

Basic and Advanced Obedience

$1,050

Eight private lessons: four of basic obedience, then four of advanced commands and distance work. E-collar and leash included.

Puppies

E-collar obedience lessons start at five and a half months. Younger puppies can start with the clicker and treat method, which builds a foundation for obedience later, and we can help with house training too. Call us and we will tell you what fits your puppy's age.

What every board and train includes

  • Your dog boards with one of our professional trainers for the whole program and trains every day.
  • Updates while your dog is with us (daily video updates on the aggressive dog program).
  • A one-on-one handoff session at pickup: about 1.5 hours for one week, 2 hours for two weeks, and 2 to 3 hours for the aggressive dog program.
  • A lifetime refresher class after graduation.

Frequently misunderstood facts

  • Board and train and private lessons are different. In board and train, your dog stays and trains with our trainer. In private lessons, you and your dog train together with a trainer.
  • Aggression work is its own program. The 2 Week Aggressive Dog Board and Train ($3,100) is built for reactive and aggressive dogs. The 1 Week and 2 Week Board and Train programs are not designed for aggression.
  • Human aggression is assessed first. A trainer assesses a dog that is aggressive toward people before it is accepted into a program. Nobody can promise a complete fix for aggression; we give you control and help you manage it.
  • E-collar training starts at five and a half months. Younger puppies train with the clicker and treat method instead.
  • Board and train has requirements. Dogs need to be potty and crate trained before the program starts.
  • Visits are by appointment only. Please call before coming to our New Haven training base.
  • Packages are paid before lessons are scheduled. Once a package is paid, we send you the link to book your appointments.
  • Results last with practice at home. Every program ends with a hands-on lesson that teaches you how to keep the results, and we show you how to fit training into your normal routine.

What Off Leash K9 Training of Fort Wayne is not

  • Not online training. Our training is in person, with our trainers.
  • Not a quick fix. Programs run from one private lesson to two weeks of board and train, followed by practice at home.
  • Not a substitute for veterinary care. A medical issue that affects behavior may need a veterinarian alongside training.
  • Not the same business as other Off Leash K9 Training locations. This page covers the Fort Wayne location only, based in New Haven, Indiana.
