Bell's Story: A High-Energy Aussie With a Heel Her Owner Calls Unbelievable
Her owner called her "my crazy girl." The morning of the review, the two of them had just had a great trip to the store.
- Bell
- Australian Shepherd
- Trained by Leah
- 2-week board and train
Where Bell started
Bell is an Australian Shepherd, a breed with energy to spare. Her owner's own description was "my crazy girl," and the goal was to get her under control.
The training journey
Bell spent two weeks in our board and train with Leah, one of our trainers at Off Leash K9 Training of Fort Wayne. Her owner could tell Bell enjoyed it: "It was very obvious Bell enjoyed her 2 week board and train with Leah."
Leah put time into the owner too. Bell's owner is grateful for the effort Leah put into both of them, and wrote that Leah's advice has made a huge difference.
What actually changed
- She is calmer. It is the first thing her owner lists.
- She has manners. The crazy girl now knows how to behave.
- Her heel is, in her owner's word, unbelievable.
- Her owner knows how to keep it going. The review says they now have the knowledge and tools to maintain what Bell learned and to grow from it.
★★★★★
“This training program is just amazing! My Aussie is calmer, now has manners and her heel is unbelievable! I'm so thankful Leah got my crazy girl under control ☺️ As well as we now have the knowledge and tools to maintain and grow!! It was very obvious Bell enjoyed her 2 week board and train with Leah!! […] Our tractor supply visit this morning went sooo well!!”

What it changed for her owner
The review ends with an ordinary errand, and that is the best part. The morning of the review, Bell's owner had taken her along to Tractor Supply, and the visit "went sooo well." A good trip to the store with a high-energy herding dog is a big change in everyday life.
Why Bell's story matters to us
High-energy dogs do not need less energy. They need to know what to do with it. Bell is still Bell, and now she has a job: walk beside her person and mind her manners. We love seeing that at Off Leash K9 Training of Fort Wayne.
Before and after
Bell, a high-energy Australian Shepherd, came home from a two week board and train with Leah calmer, with manners and a heel her owner calls unbelievable. A trip to Tractor Supply went great.
Bell did our two week board and train. Every program and price is on our prices page, and you can meet Leah on our About page.
